Perhaps this is the answer! I would make some homemade tortillas with it.

  • Harriet B

I love white whole wheat flour. I use it in all my baking – I sub about half the regular flour in the recipe for this and it works great (subbing all did not work so great for me, but I’d love to try somewhere in between and find out any tricks for whole grain baking!)! Banana bread, zucchini bread… cookies…

  • Brenda

I have not tried it. I have been making so much more of our staple foods from scratch so I would try it in bread, tortillas and of course the pancake mix.

  • Elisabeth

I haven’t tried it, but I use regular whole wheat flour all the time in bread, rolls, and pizza crust. I’d love to try it with muffins!

  • evabakes

Yes – I like using it to make healthier muffins. I would like to try it in cupcakes next!

  • LibrarianLizy

I LOVE KAF’s white wheat flour. I actually I love all things KAF; it’s the only flour I bake with these days. I use the white wheat in almost all my breads (yeast and quick) and muffins. I especially love it in my sandwich bread because it has the look and texture of white bread, but the flavor (very mild) and nutritional content of wheat bread.

  • Suzannah

I love it in pizza dough!

  • Courtney McElhaney

I haven’t used it before! I bake a lot, so I would want to just start substituting this in any recipe that calls for all purpose flour. It would be great to see the nutritional value of my cookies and cupcakes improve without impacting the flavor too much!

  • Annie Song

I love white whole wheat flour. The same nutritional content as stone ground whole wheat but with a milder flavor that works very well in baked goods. Unbeknownst to my friends, parents, and coworkers, the treats I make for them are actually (sort of) healthy :) I actually need a bag to make my dad his favorite carrot cake on Sunday!

White whole wheat flour is a new avenue I would like to venture on by using it to make pizza crusts!

  • keb216

Love King Arthur products! If anyone can make whole wheat flour that substitutes for traditional baking white, it’s them. I would first make my favorite giant oatmeal cookies, then substitute for white in everything. I don’t make a lot of cakes and “delicate” baked goods, so should be using whole wheat for everything. But it’s often too rustic even for oatmeal-based cookies and bars.

  • Kelly

I’ve tried Trader Joe’s version only – I would love to make waffles with it!

  • Michelle

I haven’t tried it, but I just picked some strawberries and would use it to make some shortcake now.

I have not yet tried making anything with white whole wheat flour, but it is something that does have appeal. I have bought white whole wheat bread before and liked the taste. My fiance won’t eat anything that say “whole grain or whole wheat”. With this flour being white I might be able to slip it by him by putting it into the flour jar without him seeing the bag. I would probably start with pancakes just to try out the taste, but can see myself making bread with it or muffins.
