happy holidays 2012 – nespresso latissima plus giveaway

For the grand finale of our holiday giveaways this week, we have a fantastic prize courtesy of the good people at Nespresso.  If you’ve been reading the blog for a while, you’ve seen me go from disliking coffee in any form but ice cream, to liking it on occasion, to liking iced coffee to now, when I drink it most days.  A few months ago I decided to wave the white flag and get an espresso maker.  (The fact that affogato is one of my favorite desserts ever definitely played a huge role in this decision.)  Anyway, I did lots of product research, talked to friends about what they had, and read enough reviews to make my eyes cross.  I ended up getting a Nespresso Citiz and it has been perfect for my needs.  I really love it.  BUT…the people at Nespresso are so awesome, they are offering an even better model than what I have – the Latissima Plus.  Fancy!  A few specs about the machine from the makers:

    I like to make a Cuban coffe concoction called “Cafe con leche” with lots of spuma (foam from the espresso itself) and a tostada (a buttered, flattened and toasted bolillo roll) to dunk in it
