earth day 2013 – moody meats

Our family has been frequenting Moody’s Meats for the past several years, and we absolutely love their offerings.  The quality of the products and the service can’t be beat.  We also truly appreciate the Moodys’ commitment to sustainable farming practices.  I would love for you to experience what we have come to love so much, so we’re giving away two $25 gift certificates to Moody’s Butcher Shop (locations in Avon, Zionsville, and Ladoga).

To enter, check out Moody Meats’ website and tell me what you’re most interested in trying from their shop.  Leave a comment on THIS POST and let me know.

The Rules: One entry per person, Indianapolis area residents only.  Commenting will open Monday, April 22 at 4:30 am EST and close on Wednesday, April 24 at 10:00 pm EST.  Entries that do not follow the entry requirements will not be considered.  Two winners will be selected at random and contacted via email later next week.  Good luck!

Full disclosure: This giveaway is sponsored by Annie’s Eats.

My husband would be considered the ultimate carnivore so he will be delighted with any of the meats but what I’m really craving is quality bacon!

I’m headed to Moody’s today actually! Going to pick up some ground beef. My littlest turns 2 on Friday and I’m making your spaghetti and meatballs for our family and the grandparents. We don’t eat much red meat, but when we do, Moody’s has the best.

  • Laura Smith

    Steak on the grill….yum!

  • Maegan

I love the idea of butcher shops coming back to get local products and really forming a relationship with the butcher. I would love to try so many of Moody’s products but I would first try free range chicken.

  • Sarah Furge

I live in Indy and have always wanted to try Moody’s! I’m always amazed at how quality deli meat totally transforms a sandwich.

  • Carolyn

I’d love to try their chicken – I just cannot seem to find sustainable chicken anywhere in West Lafayette!! I sadly make the trip down to Indy to go to Whole Foods (bulk bins!)/W-S and I need to make this a stop on my list!

Last summer we visited London and had bangers and mash for the first time. We weren’t sure what to expect, but we ended up liking the specialty. I have been wanting to try my own version to remind us of our trip and am excited to know that they have the correct cut ofgrass meat and the recipe!
