My hope is to inspire you to be fearless in the kitchen, to try new things, to take the time to make things the homemade way and most importantly, to have fun doing it!

Welcome to my food blog!

After frequenting various cooking websites and message boards, I have been inspired to start my own cooking blog. Cooking and baking are two of my favorite things to do, and the kitchen is a great place for me to relax. I love trying new recipes and making old favorites. And of course, my wonderful husband Ben is thrilled about this. We are a match made in heaven – a girl who loves to cook and a boy with an amazing appetite :)

Hopefully this blog will serve as an inspiration both to myself and others who enjoy cooking. Bon appetit!

Congratulations on joining the “blogwagon” as I like to call it. I added you to my google reader so I will be sure to keep up to date with what’s cooking at your place. :)

Great looking blog babe! This girl is serious about cooking. Everything has been incredible. I’m just glad I can lend my support…by eating all of the things she makes!

Hi! Great blog!! I just worked my way back through every post and love, love, love what I see! You are a definite must read (along with my daily Pioneer Woman and Smitten Kitchen) and I’ve already done the parmesan pork chops for lunch today and have the ingredients gathered together to do the sandwich cookies later today! My 4 boys will be thrilled (ages 6,6,6 and 7!) along with my husband. Keep the recipes coming! Oh…I don’t know where you find the time to work too!!

I just read through your whole blog from start to finish (In the middle of trying to study for finals, food and stress, why did I do this to myself?) and have to say I’ve got plans to bake about 75% of this stuff in the next few weeks!

  • Jenny

I stumbled upon your blog a couple of days ago and *LOVE* it! I just finished reading through the whole thing and am waiting on my first batch of potato rolls to come out of the oven! They should be the perfect accompaniment to the dinner I have planned for tonight. :) Can’t wait to try more of your recipes, keep up all the good work!

I found your blog through pioneer woman and just starting reading straight through it! It is awesome to see how you’ve grown so much in your cooking and I’m inspired to do the same!! I am making the brownie mosaic cheesecake tonight for friends and I’m sure I’ll be trying lots of other recipes in the future!

    Hey Annie!!!!!
I’m 12 years old and I have been using your blog for about a year now, and I just wanted to say how much I love your recepies and how you have inspired me to love cooking!

  • http://nygirl23.blogspot.com Chelsea

Annie, I can proudly say I’ve successfully read (backwards) through your whole blog in about a week or so. The photos are breathtaking, the recipes, even more so. I am so inspired, and my blog, which now has hardly any food pictures, will now have more because I notice the difference; the more I see of the recipe, the more I want to make it. Thanks for helping me help my blog – and my fiance’s tummy!

    All the best,

    Chelsea

Wow – is all I can say. WOW. I love all of your recipes – especially the strawberry and Nutella oatmeal and Green Monster smoothie. Yum!

I’m currently working my way through your blog and thought I’d let you know that it’s great to see how you developed. I’ve started my own blog in an attempt to document my journey or moving out alone and finding, once again, my passion for food!
